Odds

Betano has a great sports selection, but how do this sportsbook’s odds compare to those that have been in Ontario a while longer?

To determine this, I started by comparing soccer odds, which is one of Betano’s strongest sports.

For this England Premier League game, Betano is clearly the best choice when it comes to betting on the favourite and the draw.

Meanwhile, Betway offers the best odds for the underdog.

We’ve noticed a similar pattern for other popular leagues, such as the Major League Soccer.

NHL Odds at Betano

I also wanted to see how Betano fares in one of the more “Canadian” sports. In lieu of the upcoming NHL finals, I tested the brand against other popular Ontarian sportsbooks:

While Betway has slightly higher odds for the favorite, Betano is by far the best choice when it comes to Florida Panthers.

A $100 bet on them would yield a potential payout of $212 ($100 x 2.12) compared to Bet99’s $200.

That’s a $12 difference that can only grow bigger the higher the wager.

NCAAB Odds

Betano has some of the highest NCAAB odds we’ve seen, especially regarding the favourite.

From these examples, I can conclude that Betano has very competitive odds and is often the best choice for the underdog, especially when it comes to NHL and soccer.

I decided to test the customer support, namely, the platform’s live chat. I contacted customer support and was met with a bot. However, unlike my negative experience with FanDuel’s chatbot, this one was quite pleasant.

I inquired about the maximum and minimum withdrawal limits (as this information cannot be accessed on the website), and the bot was able to give us an answer even before I created an account.

My Verdict — Betano vs Other ON Brands

Ontarians definitely have a lot to look forward to now that they can place wagers at Betano.

For one, Betano has a unique soccer offering, including great prop bets all year-round.

While Bet99 and bet365 also boast plenty of prop bets, Betano definitely has the best ones when it comes to soccer.

Betano’s Bet Builder and Live Streaming options help make betting a more joyful experience. The “Watch & Bet” feature is something I love, especially since it makes betting and live streaming simultaneously easy peasy.

The brand also has competitive odds and great guides, plus a good choice of slots and a live casino.

However, we’d like to see more payment methods available, as other Ontarian brands sometimes offer around ten, compared to Betano’s three.

That being said, overall, Betano fares more than decently against other, more popular sportsbooks in Ontario.

Its pros clearly outweigh its cons, and I can confidently recommend it to our readers.
