Jackpot City Overview
If you are looking for a casino where you can deposit using cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Litecoin, and Ethereum, Jackpot City is one of the few casinos for you.
Furthermore, they have a minimum deposit of $5 with most payment modes (like Interac, Flexipin, etc.) and a higher deposit limit of $300,000, giving new and experienced bettors great flexibility on the betting amount.
To top that, they have an iGo license from iGaming Ontario, a subsidiary of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO), which shows they meet the high standards of game integrity and player protection.
On the downside, the minimum withdrawal is higher than competitors at $50.
Plus, they lack filters to find slots based on providers, volatility, etc., as you’d find on more complete casinos like PlayOJO (our No.1 casino pick).
Lastly, their chat support was a serious letdown.

How to Sign up at Jackpot City
1) Click on the orange ‘Sign Up’ button in the top right-hand corner of the window.
2) Next up, select the country and province (in our tester’s case, Jackpot City did this automatically).
3) Enter a username and password. You’ll also need to verify your phone number and provide an email
4) Then comes personal information like Name, DOP, Gender, etc.
5) Enter your address. This includes house number, lane, city, postal code, etc.
6) Check the terms and conditions boxes and click ‘Register’.
Name, address, province, etc., are standard details required by every casino and sportsbook in Canada. However, do keep in mind two things:
Firstly, you shouldn’t have any previous accounts with Jackpot City. Each user is permitted a single account on any platform, and having more than one can lead to a ban.
Secondly, ensure you enter the correct details, as this will make verification smooth and easy.
Any data discrepancy can also result in your account being banned (the last thing you want is to lose your winnings because you didn’t spellcheck).
Next up, you’ll need to verify your account.
How to Verify Account
To verify your account, you’ll need to submit:
- A government-issued photo ID
- A valid address proof
You can submit your Passport, Identity Card, or Driver’s Licence in PDF, JPG, or PNG format of up to 10MB as your ID Proof.
As for address proof, Bank Statements / Utility bills (not older than 3 months) are valid documents.
Once you have these ready, here’s what you must do.
Step 1: Hover over to your username in the top right-hand corner and select ‘My Account’ from the dropdown menu.
Step 2: Select ‘My Documents’ from the left-hand side menu.
Step 3: Click on the ‘+’ icon in the Supporting Documents box.
Step 4: Upload the required documents and click ‘Submit’.
Once submitted, the documents are manually viewed by the Jackpot City team.
If your registered details are different from those on your ID or address proof, you can attach a note stating the reason for the difference.
Tips for Smooth Verification
- Your document should be government-issued and not expired
- Your full name and date of birth should be clearly visible
- Registration details should match the proofs (or attach a note stating why the difference)
- All 4 corners and sides should be fully visible
- Do not submit blurry images
- Avoid submitting multiple IDs or address proofs
Welcome Bonus
100% Deposit Match up to $1,600
10 Free Spins Daily
$10 Minimum Deposit
Jackpot City has an impressive deposit match bonus of up to $1,600 (the third highest in our testing). Not just that you also get 10 free spins daily.
Plus, their rollover requirement of 35x is typical of most casinos. We also noticed the same for Bwin, Bet99, etc.
Apart from this, there are a few other things you should know about:
- The minimum deposit is $10 (great for users that don’t want to deposit big)
- The maximum bet while a bonus is in play is $11.78 per round and 50c per line
- You have 7 days since account creation to claim the bonus
- You have 2 months to use the deposit match bonus, or it gets forfeited
How the Bonus Works
The Jackpot City bonus is split into four deposits. That means you must deposit $400 four times if you want the full $1,600 bonus.
While it may seem like a hassle, it offers great flexibility. You can make a $400 deposit and receive $400 as a bonus.
You can also make two deposits. One could match the minimum requirement of $10, while the other could be $400 (giving you $410 as a bonus).
This is great for new users who do not want to go big with their first deposit.
Next up, the wagering requirement is 35x.
Let’s say you deposited $400. You now must place bets of $14,000 ($400 (bonus amount) x 35).
However, note that not all games contribute the same for wagering requirements, which means that you may need to win and wager through more before you can withdraw, depending on your game choice!
We recommend you use the bonus on slots, keno or scratch card games, as they meet 100% of the wagering requirement (except slots from NetEnt and Progressive Slots).
Here’s how much other games contribute to the wagering requirement.
Game | % of Wagering Requirement |
NetEnt Slots | 50% |
Keno & Scratch Card games | 100% |
Re-Spin Slot Games | 10% |
Progressive Jackpots | 0% |
All Table Pokers | 8% |
Blackjack | 8% (except Classic Blackjack) |
Classic Blackjack | 2% |
All Video/Power Pokers | 8% (except All Aces and Jacks or Better) |
All Aces Video Pokers | 2% |
Jacks or Better Video Pokers | 2% |
All Baccarat | 0% |
Craps and Red Dog | 0% |
Sic Bo | 0% |
Sign up with Jackpot City for a 100% deposit match bonus of $1,600 and daily free spins.
PLAYIf you want to avoid the hassle of wagering requirements, PlayOJO is one of the few casinos in Canada that have no such conditions.
If you are okay with wagering requirements but want a bigger bonus, check out Sports Interaction, which offers a 100% deposit match of up to $3,000. The bonus is not divided into multiple deposits. Plus, it has a lower wagering requirement of 30x.
Slots and Jackpots
Games from Top Providers
Exclusive Games Available
Play Demos for Free
Comparatively Fewer Slots
No Advanced Filters
Jackpot City allows you to pick from over 900 slots. There are also 90+ Jackpots and 6 exclusive slots that you can try out.
To find all the available slots or jackpots, all you need to do is click on ‘Slots’ or ‘Jackpots’ in the navigation menu below the top banner.
The 900 slots include the most popular games with a high RTP (Return to Player) value, such as Immortal Romance (96.86%) and Big Bass Bonanza (96.7%).
You can check RTP values for most games here.
If you are new and do not want to wager straightaway, you can also choose to play demos and understand the game first.
While they have a decent number of slots and jackpots, PlayOJO gives you more variety with 3,200+ slots.
We would have also loved to see more advanced filters on Jackpot City.
For example, while they do have games from providers like NetEnt, Pragmatic Play, etc., you cannot find the games based on providers.
There’s no filter to sort the slots by volatility, either.
You can find these filters on PlayOJO, which makes them more user-friendly and allows you to play games based on your preferences and needs.
So, while Jackpot City is a decent Casino, PlayOJO remains our number 1 casino brand.
Choose from over 3,200 slots on PlayOJO
PLAYTable Games
Free to Play Demos
Find Games Easily
Good Range of Games
If you prefer table card games, you can choose to play blackjack, roulette, baccarat, sic bo and video poker.
We love the fact that they categorize the games, making it easier to find the list of games you want to play.
This is something we found lacking in many other casinos like Bet99 and Sports Interaction.
Though we would have loved to see more advanced filters that let you further filter games by providers, this was a welcome change.
Another standout here is that Jackpot City gives you demo versions for almost all the card games.
This is another thing we did not find in any other casino (including PlayOJO), and it is great for beginner players.
You can go out and play and understand the rules for games like blackjack, roulette, etc., in real-time without risking a penny.
We’d definitely love to see more casinos have this.
So yes, Jackpot City is the right casino for you if you prefer card games.
Live Casino
Games from Top Providers
Can’t Search Games by Providers
Comparatively Fewer Games
Fewer Providers
The live casino section was a tad disappointing.
For starters, they have fewer games compared to casinos like Bet99 and PlayOJO.
Here’s how much it differs by:
Jackpot City | Bet99 | PlayOJO | |
---|---|---|---|
Blackjack | 29 | 150+ | 80+ |
Roulette | 20 | 19 | 40 |
Baccarat | 14 | 40 | 32 |
As you can see from the table above, Bet99 has the highest number of blackjack games. On the other hand, PlayOJO has more roulette and baccarat games.
And that’s not the only disappointing aspect.
Jackpot City has games from fewer providers. For example, the blackjack section only features games from OnAir and Pragmatic Play.
While these are also good providers, we would have loved to see games from providers like Playtech, Authentic Gaming, Evolution Gaming, etc.
Payment Modes
$5 Minimum Deposit
Plenty of Payment Options
Instant Deposits
Accepts Cryptocurrencies
$50 Minimum Withdrawal
Fees on Bank Withdrawals
Jackpot City offers more modes than casinos like Bet99, bet365, LeoVegas, PlayOJO, etc. These include:
Interac, Credit/Debit Cards, Gpay, Paysafecard, MuchBetter, NeoSurf, Instant Bank Transfer, and Flexepin.
Not just that, you’ll also find Gpay, NeoSurf, Flexepin, and MuchBetter (some modes you’d rarely find on casinos and sportsbooks).
They are also one of the few casinos that accept cryptocurrencies. Thus, you can also deposit using Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT TRC 20, and Litecoin.
Minimum and Maximum Deposit
The minimum and maximum deposit amount varies based on the payment modes.
Minimum Deposit | Maximum Deposit | |
Interac | $5 | $300,000 |
Debit/Credit Cards | $5 | $300,000 |
Gpay | $5 | $50,000 |
Paysafecard | $10 | $300,000 |
MuchBetter | $5 | $300,000 |
NeoSurf | $5 | $300,000 |
iDebit | $5 | $300,000 |
Flexepin | $5 | $300,000 |
Bitcoin | $5 | $300,000 |
Ethereum | $5 | $300,000 |
As you see, most of the payment modes have the same minimum and maximum limit, with only Paysafecard having a higher minimum deposit limit of $10.
On the other hand, Gpay has a lower maximum withdrawal limit of $50,0000.

I prefer Interac for deposit and withdrawal because it is quick, easy and reliable. Plus, the limits are favourable.
Here’s how you can deposit using Interac
Our $25 deposit via Interac showed up in the Jackpot City wallet within 60 seconds.
Minimum Withdrawal
The minimum withdrawal limit is $50, which is much higher than what we have seen at other casinos, like Sports Interaction, PlayOJO, Bet99, etc.
Here’s how it compares
Casino | Minimum Withdrawal |
Jackpot City | $50 |
PlayOJO | No Minimum Withdrawal |
Sports Interaction | $10 |
bet365 | $10 |
Bet99 | $20 |
This is a drawback because it means you’ll need to win more to withdraw your funds.

If you do win and want to withdraw less than $500, I’d avoid using bank transfer, as you’ll have to pay a fee.
You should also avoid making withdrawals on weekends. Payments are only processed on weekdays, and thus, they can lead to a delay.
Customer Support
Extensive Help Centre
Chat Support
Connecting to Chat Support is Hard
The support is Jackpot City’s Achilles heel.
We were quite surprised to see that no chat support icon was available anywhere for a quick connect (as you’d find in the top menu on Bet99, bet365, etc.).
The only way to connect is via the ‘Help Centre’, which is long drawn.
Once the chat starts, you’ll be greeted by the AI assistant. Sadly, there’s no easy way to skip past the AI and connect with a human.
We only got the option to contact a human agent during our second attempt to explain the problem.
Once connected, we were third on the waiting list, and it took about 6 minutes before we could finally speak to the agent.
All in all, the process took us around 8-10 mins.

Honestly, I’d rely on the Help Centre to resolve most queries as connecting to the agent is a long drawn process that took 8-10 mins
Jackpot City does have a detailed ‘Help Center’ where they answer queries about deposits, withdrawals, verification, etc.
However, this does not make up for the poor chat support.
We also didn’t find any email for support.
Is Jackpot City Reliable?
iGO License
Partnerships with NFL Teams
Testing by eCogra
SSL Certificate
20+ Years in the Industry
Jackpot City has an iGO license issued by iGaming Ontario, a subsidiary of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) that regulates and licenses private sportsbooks and casinos in Ontario.
This means the platform meets iGaming Ontario’s high standards for game integrity and player protection, in turn, making it safe for bettors from provinces like Quebec, British Columbia, Manitoba, etc.
Furthermore, they have partnered with popular NFL teams.
They have also partnered with eCogra, one of the most trusted and internationally approved testing agencies.
They undertake inspection and certification of online gambling software and systems.
eCogra’s tests ensure Jackpot City uses random number generators (RNGs) and that winnings are distributed fairly among players.
Does Jackpot City Have an App?
Yes, Jackpot City has an app for Android and iOS users.
Android users can download the app via the Google PlayStore.
You can also download the Android APK from the Jackpot City app page.
iPhone users can download the app from the App Store. You cannot download it directly from the website.
Our experience with the app was similar to that of the website.
It loads fast, has the same offers and games, gives you the same payment options, and is similar in terms of categories and navigation.
Verdict
Positives:
Table Games is where Jackpot City shines. You can find games easily, and it is one of the few casinos that gives you free-to-play demos of these games.
They also have a lot of payment modes to choose from. Plus, they accept cryptocurrencies.
And while the number of slots and live casinos games are fewer than that of top casino like Bet99, PlayOJO, etc. they still have a decent number of games.
Lastly, an internationally approved testing agency (eCogra) regularly tests the games for fairness.
Areas for Improvement:
We’d love to see filters to help find games by the volatility of the slots or providers.
Connecting to the live chat took a long time. We’d like to see them make it quick and easy with an icon in the top menu.
Considering the positives and negatives, we expected better from a casino that has been in the industry for so long.
While we see Jackpot City as a good alternative to PlayOJO, it is still far from becoming one of the top platforms.
